Live, Work, Play: Artist Walk + Twilight Picnic

Visit Kingswood’s newest public art with the artist who created it and then enjoy tunes at dusk in Wainwright Park as part of Council’s Live, Work, Play Grid project.

Are you a lover of art? You’ll enjoy our Artist Walk where you’ll hear about ideas, inspiration and what it’s like working in public space with artist, Mandy Schoene-Salter, as you visit her works on Bringelly Rd and the Great Western Highway.

Afterwards, bring a rug and some snacks for live music at sunset. Outdoor furniture and food will not be provided on the night. Attendees are recommended to bring along their own picnic, rugs, bean bags, blankets or low lying lawn chairs.

Meet at 4.25pm at Red Cross Park (corner Somerset Street and Great Western Highway) for the artist walk with Mandy.

This is a free event.

This project is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with Penrith City Council.

This activation is part of Council’s demonstration project, Live, Work, Play Grid. For more info visit penrith.city/liveworkplaykingswood
