Council Business

Penrith City Council is responsible for a 404km2 area in Western Sydney. Like all NSW councils, we operate within a legislative framework set by the State Government and are guided by our community through a Community Strategic Plan. Decisions are made by 15 Councillors who are elected by the public every 4 years. Councillors make decisions on all key matters at Council meetings.
