Use Penrith City Council’s Online Development Services site to track Development Applications and conduct planning and land use enquiries online.

Barking Dog

If a barking dog in your neighbourhood is causing a problem for you, try talking to the dog owner first if possible. You can lodge a complaint with Council using our Community or Neighbour Disputes and Grievances form. To help us investigate and help resolve the problem, we'll ask you to fill in a Barking Dog Diary.

Library Catalogue

Manage your library membership, search the library’s online catalogue, databases, online newspapers and more.

Online Services Portal

Use our Online Services Portal to report a problem or lodge a request, anytime and anywhere. The system is directly integrated with our Customer Experience team, which means your requests are actioned faster. We recommend you create an account so you can always see a record of the requests and questions you’ve asked us and track their progress. You can lodge a request as a guest if you choose, however some services such as bulky waste collection will prompt you to sign in before proceeding.

Roads and Footpaths

Report faulty road and street signs, potholes or spills. Request street sweeping or bridge, road, footpath, kerb and gutter maintenance.

Parks, Buildings and Venues

Report graffiti or syringes or request litter removal from public land. Request maintenance of Council-owned carparks, building, fencing, furniture, playground and fitness equipment; or maintenance of plumbing and drains on public land.

The Waste Spot

Book a bulky waste collection; report a bin not fully emptied, missed service or spillage; or make a general waste enquiry.

Trees and Vegetation

Report a fallen tree branch or request tree stump grinding or tree pruning removal or planting on public land. Request mowing on public land (excludes nature strips).

Non-domestic animals

Request magpie swooping or snake warning signage on public land, report the need for pest control on public land.

It may be that the matter you’re enquiring about sits with another organisation for looking into. For example, Council does not maintain street lights – this is the responsibility of Endeavour Energy. We will do our best to point you in the right direction but it helps if you supply as much information as you can when filling out the ‘Report a problem’ form.
