Habitat Restoration: Kanangra Reserve (July 2023)

Join our Bushcare team for a great morning of removing invasive weeds!

Join us for a bushwalk to learn more about the reserve and the animals and plants you can find here. Afterwards, we’ll be completing a weeding activity to help improve the reserve.

On-site training, tools, and light refreshments will be provided on the day. We recommend participants bring along a hat, sunscreen, and a bottle of water, and wear long sleeves and long pants on the day.

Help protect the endangered Native Pear (Marsdenia viridiflora) at this reserve. Marsdenia viridiflora is a climber with a twining stem, yellow bell-shaped flowers and is rare in the area. It has been recorded on clay soils on the Cumberland Plain and is an endangered population.

The event is open to everyone with and without Bushcare experience. Children must be supervised by an adult.

Register your spot at the Walk and Weed Eventbrite page.

The Habitat Restoration event series is proudly supported by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust.
