Latest business grants and opportunities

Businesses can take advantage of new grants and stimulus initiatives on offer in NSW.

three plates of food and two tropical drinks on a tableAs the COVID recovery continues, several new initiatives have been announced to instil confidence into affected industries and encourage spending.

The Business Events Grant Program provides delegates, including buyers and sellers, with financial support to attend and participate at exhibitions, conferences and conventions. Open to Australian businesses, including sole traders, until 30 March, successful applicants can receive funding from $10,000 to $250,000.

Businesses can apply to attend approved events that occur in 2021. The objective of the Australian Government program is to promote Australian business capability whilst supporting the event industry.

The hospitality, arts and tourism industries can register their interest in the forthcoming Dine & Discover NSW initiative. NSW residents will be eligible for four $25 vouchers to be used at participating businesses who are registered as COVID safe. Two of the vouchers will be redeemable mid-week at restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs and clubs. The other two vouchers can be used for entertainment and recreation activities seven days a week.

Currently in a testing phase in limited locations, the program will eventually roll out across NSW in March. Eligible businesses can register now ahead of the roll out. for more information, visit the Dine & Discover NSW webpage.
