Opportunities for manufacturers

The Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) has launched a portal for Australian manufacturers to register their interest in supporting the national response to COVID-19.

Penrith has a strong manufacturing industry, with over 750 registered businesses in the local government area.

The AMGC portal allows businesses to register their details and outline their expertise and capabilities so they can be contacted by the AMGC should any relevant projects become available.

As well as manufacturers, the portal can also be utilised by component suppliers and skilled design or engineering experts.

Many manufacturers across Australia have already expressed a desire to assist in this effort; and others have already begun to pivot their operations.
