Breakfast with the Birds (Bellbird Reserve) -- BOOKED OUT

Enjoy your breakfast with us and Bellbird Reserve's birds with a great morning learning about the birds who call the reserve home.

As of Thursday 11 August, Breakfast with the Birds has booked out. If you're interested in exploring this bird haven and would love to get your hands dirty, you can join the Bellbird Reserve Bushcare Group on Saturday 17 September from 8am-12pm for a great morning of bush regeneration activities. Find out more.

Don’t miss out on joining us and Avianation for Breakfast with the Birds!

We'll be learning all about the birds who call Bellbird Reserve home and enjoying a guided walk and talk around the picturesque bushland reserve while we record the species we see and hear.

After, we’ll be weeding the reserve to help conserve the birds’ natural habitat and to protect the flora from invasive weeds.

What can I expect?

  • You’ll be provided with tools, training, and guidance on how to weed. No experience is required!
  • Morning tea, coffee, and refreshments.

What do I need to wear and bring?

  • Wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt, sturdy closed-in shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
  • Bring a bottle of water.
  • A camera to snap pictures of the birds!

Who can come along?

Anyone! It doesn’t matter if you have years of Bushcare volunteering experience or none at all — the Bushcare Group welcomes anyone and everyone who has an interest in conserving our local bushland.

Children must be supervised by an adult.

Is parking available?
