Additional Kerbside Bin Collections over Christmas 

We’re providing extra bin collections to residents from Thursday 25 December 2025 to Wednesday 7 January 2026 to help dispose of excess holiday waste and recycling responsibly. 

Council is providing additional waste and recycling services such as extra bin collections, recycling drop-offs and a Christmas tree recycling day to assist households with any excess waste and recycling they may have over the festive period.  

Council will provide two weeks of extra bin collections from Thursday 25 December 2025 to Wednesday 7 January 2026, including public holidays, where residents can place all three bins at the kerbside on the evening before their regular collection day to be emptied.

To make the most of the additional collections, residents are requested to place their bins out the night before their regular collection day and leave them out until they are emptied.
