The Financial Information Service will explain the options around funding for aged care including home care, respite care and residential aged care costs.

The Financial Information Service will help you understand:

• How the aged care system works
• The meaning of financial words used in aged care
• The aged care fees you can expect
• How aged care may affect your government payments, including the Age Pension
• The different options to pay for aged care based on your circumstances
• Your options, if you're thinking about selling or transferring property
• Your finances if your partner has died
