Lets Help Our Platypus -- BOOKED OUT

We’re partnering with Mulgoa Valley Landcare to help improve habitat for the platypus by weeding Factory Road Reserve in Regentville.

We have a great morning planned! If you’ve come to our previous platypus-related events or if this is your first time, you’ll walk away primed with more knowledge about the platypus that has been spotted in Penrith.

Along with weeding, we’ll also be:

• hearing from Mulgoa Valley Landcare about their ongoing work to save this iconic species
• learning about the developments in Dr Michelle Ryan from Western Sydney University’s research into the platypus, especially platypus found in western Sydney

Refreshments and equipment will be provided. Spots are limited, so book your place! 

This platypus education event is funded through the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program. Mulgoa Valley Landcare Group will be receiving $427,500 as part of this $2 Billion program delivering transformational infrastructure across Western Sydney.
