CSI Forensic Science Workshop -- BOOKED OUT

Calling all budding super sleuths! Come and join Penrith City Libraries for some science mixed in with a bit of drama as we collect clues and evaluate evidence using different techniques!

Find clues using techniques such as fingerprinting and blood typing, facial reconstruction, hair and fibre analysis, fluorescence of oils, plant identification and DNA comparison, latent image detection, chromatography and shoe impression casting.

Collect evidence and discuss procedures such as the importance of isolating the crime scene and chain of evidence to the eventual court case.

NOTE: Due to the space requirements for this workshop, parents are encouraged to wait elsewhere in the Library.

This is best suited for 8-12 year olds. Tickets cost $12 per child attending. Book now.
