Creative Writing Workshop with Will Kostakis

Kids are invited to join award-winning writer Will Kostakis for this four-part writing series to create their own engaging story!

Aspiring writers aged 12-15 years old are invited to register for a great creative writing workshop with Will! Please bring along a pen and some paper to your Zoom sessions. 

The workshop will consist of four sessions:  

1. Session 1: Story structure and hooking the reader
2. Session 2: Creating characters and voice
3. Session 3: How to get unstuck when writing
4. Session 4: How to edit a story

Will got a book deal in year 12 and has worked as a celebrity journalist, crafting celebrity tweets, and creating content for reality TV. Use what you learn to create your own entry for the Westwords Western Sydney Writing Competition based on the theme 'Living Stories: Things Unsaid'.
