Christmas Household Recycling Drop-off Weeks

Bring your excess household recyclables to our recycling drop-off at Kingsway Playing Fields, Werrington held on weekdays from Monday 22 December - Friday 2 Jannuary 2026 (excluding public holidays) between 3pm and 6pm.

A recycling drop-off point for residents to easily dispose of excess household recyclables will be available at The Kingsway Playing Fields, Werrington from 3pm until 6pm, weekdays from Monday 22 December – Friday 2 January 2026 (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Council will be taking excess household recyclables that are accepted in the yellow-lidded recycling bin, including glass bottles and jars, milk and juice cartons, paper and cardboard, plastic bottles and containers, and steel and aluminum cans.

Please note: Polystyrene and other foam packaging will NOT be accepted at the recycling drop-off. Clean, white Polystyrene can be disposed of for free at Penrith’s Community Recycling Centre (CRC).
