Your business can work with Council

Your business can work with Council

Penrith Council supports and provides a wide range of services for the community. To do so, we procure a large variety of goods and services across many categories.

Hands filling in documents

Council encourages all organisations, especially local businesses, to answer quotations and tenders to have the opportunity to work with us.

QUOTATIONS- VENDORPANEL

Most quotations for work or goods of a value of less than $250,000 do not need to go out to tender. Rather, you can quote on work through our VendorPanel portal.

This innovative online gateway is a great way to connect to new opportunities with Council. Suppliers register for free and can quote on work at Penrith Council as well as with many other organisations across Australia once Council raises a request for quote.

In addition, once your business is registered, Council staff can view your details and may contact you to provide Council with quotes for consultants, goods or services.

At the heart of this solution, we are trying to make it easier to engage with local suppliers, give SMEs better access to Council opportunities and increase governance and transparency in a decentralised quotation process.

Suppliers can follow the instructions to register in the VendorPanel Marketplace here.

If you have any questions please contact VendorPanel on 03 9095 6181 or visit vendorpanel.com/supplier-info

TENDERING AND EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Council runs a tender or Expressions of Interest (EOI) process to assess and award a contractor for all large procurement requirements.

Tenders and EOI are advertised on the NSW government tender website , or on the Penrith City Council Website. They are advertised for no less than 21 days.

You can also register for updates on current and upcoming tenders for many Government and related organisations across NSW.

When completing a response to a tender, Council will ask you to use either Apet360 as the portal to download and submit your proposal. Please make sure you check the method of response outlined in the tender documentation to ensure all requirements are met and we receive your application.
