Watercolour Workshop: Animal Portraits

Kids can come along for a watercolour workshop led by Blue Mountains artist Jennie Deane of Hiccup Art.

Unleash your creative side to master the art of watercolour and paint a rock star animal portrait. You will learn how to plan a portrait and how to use, mix and control watercolour paints. Students will take home a finished piece ready to frame plus a watercolour card to paint on.

What you will learn:

•  simple drawing techniques
•  watercolour techniques
•  colour mixing
• paper choices

All materials are provided. Bring a picture or photograph of your favourite pet or animal for inspiration. Dress for mess.

The session is best suited for 7-10 year olds and costs $15 per participant. Bookings are essential.
