Walk Against Domestic Violence

Join us for this morning walk along the banks of the beautiful Nepean River

Penrith City Council will once again demonstrate its continuing commitment and support to ending domestic and family violence in our community with a Walk Against Domestic Violence on Sunday 24 November.

Join us for this morning walk along the banks of the beautiful Nepean River commencing from the reserve on the eastern side of River Road, Emu Plains, opposite Regatta Park at 9am.

The highlight of this year’s walk will be the crossing of Penrith’s new walking bridge across the Nepean River - the Yandhai Nepean Crossing. Don’t forget your sunscreen, hat, comfortable shoes and water bottle.

The walk will end at Tench Reserve around 9.45 - 10am where there will be music, food and beverages for everyone to enjoy.

A free shuttle bus will be available to take people back to River Road, Emu Plains and Weir Reserve which are the two adjacent car parking areas. The buses will leave from 10.30am.
