Ngana Birrung is back and will showcase the fierce talent of Australia’s First Nations hip-hop and RnB artists on 22 March, 6pm-8:30pm at The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith.

Save the date! Ngana Birrung is back with a glittering, all-female concert featuring Australia's best First Nations hip-hop musicians!    

Ngana Birrung (pronounced Nin-Gahna Bir-Rung, Dharug for ‘Black Stars’) is back and will showcase the fierce talent of Australia’s First Nations hip-hop and RnB artists on 22 March, 6pm-8:30pm at The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith.   
  
Featuring a deadly female line-up  

Kaiit – An artist in every sense of the word, with a creative vision sustained by a deep spiritual connection with her ancestors. Her music is timeless, with its shimmery feel-good vibes and nostalgic production.  Winner of the 2019 ARIA Award

Miss Kaninna - An artist that pushes beyond the boundaries, her genre defying approach to performance provides a staunch and formidable foundation for a new artist with an urgency for change. Floating effortlessly between hip hop, neo-soul, and indie rock.  

Kootsie Don - Rising Indigenous Australian actor, rapper, singer and songwriter. She comes in a small size but her music and her presence are XXL! Kootsie is a creator of hard core, truthful, head bopping and motivating hip hop music, as well as soulful, catchy, sexy and feel-good RnB music. 

Ngana Birrung is presented by City of Parramatta in association with Penrith City Council, Penrith Performing and Visual Arts and Campbelltown City Council. Ngana Birrung is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.                                       

Cost:  Tickets are $5 Adult $3 Child/Concession (tickets include a free poster)
