Living Stories Writing Workshop for 10-15 year olds

Get your story ready for The Living Stories Western Sydney Writing Prize at this creative writing workshop!

In this workshop for 10-15 year old participants will hone their creative writing skills and enter the competition with confidence. Do you love writing? If you do, then this competition and workshop is for you!

The workshop is free, but bookings are essential. 

The workshops will be presented by a creative writing professional, in partnership with WestWords and WestLit Libraries.

About the competition

The Living Stories Western Sydney Writing Prize is a creative writing competition for residents of Western Sydney and Wingecarribee Shire, which is home to over 10% of Australia’s population originating from 180 countries, speaking almost 100 different languages. Entries, either a short story/essay (up to 500 words) or a poem (up to 25 lines) are open to residents from the 14 LGAs across four age groups 10-12 years; 13-15 years; 16-18 years; and adults (18+).
