International Women's Day

Celebrate International Women’s Day 2021 through a range of fun, thought-provoking and COVID-Safe events!

Monday 8 March is International Women’s Day (IWD), a chance to celebrate the achievements of women in our city and call out the biases that lead to inequity.

This year, Council has joined with Penrith Women’s Health Centre and other local organisations to put together a calendar of events in recognition of the contribution women make to our City.

We invite you to take part in an event and, on 8 March and every other day, to embrace the IWD 2021 theme and #ChooseToChallenge the barriers women face so we can create a more balanced world.
