History Week 2025 will explore the vital and varied roles water has played throughout time. Take a deep dive with us into the history of our very own Nepean River as we uncover stories that have impacted the past and shaped our future.

Do you know who Tench Reserve is named after? And did you know the Imperial Mandarin was developed in Emu Plains?

Join the Research Services Team from Penrith City Libraries for a history wander along Tench Reserve and find out more about the rich history of the Nepean River.

Please wear comfortable footwear and bring a water bottle.

Please meet the Library team opposite The East Bank restaurant hub at Tench Reserve.

The session is free, but bookings are essential.
