Habitat Restoration: Gow Park - POSTPONED

Get your hands dirty with a fun day out weeding.

As of 28 June 2021: Due to the changes in COVID-19 restrictions, Penrith Council’s Bushcare Program has been postponed. We apologise for the inconvenience. Rescheduled dates for the events will be announced once the stay at home order has been lifted. Please keep an eye on Council’s Facebook for updates.

Join our Bushcare team and Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA) on at Gow Park in Mulgoa for a great day of weeding.

Learn about the abundance of rare plants and animals which call Gow Park home. You’ll be removing invasive weeds such as African Love Grass, Mother of Millions, Moth Vine and Asparagus Fern.

The event will be catered and include light refreshments.

As per COVID-19 restriction requirements, participants will be required to wear a face mask at the event. If you do not have a face mask, masks will be provided. Participants will also be provided COVID-safe equipment.

Bookings are essential. Search for “Gow Park” and register at CVA’s events.

This is proudly supported by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust.
