Billy cart racing

Community gardening workshop
The workshop has limited spaces. Please contact us at  or 4732 8381 to book your place.

The Thornton community garden is Penrith’s first community garden on publicly accessible land offering families and school children the opportunity to grow fresh, nutritious produce to feed themselves and share with neighbours and friends.

The workshop session is hands-on and will encourage you to make quality seed raising mix from scratch, sow seeds into that mix, and take home a pre-grown ready-made seedling to plant at home.

Lunch
There will be a free BBQ lunch with vegetarian options. Coffee will also be available for purchase.

Parking and access
The site has parking and disability access. Entrance is via King Street.
