Sydney’s best food trucks are serving up delicious food and exciting flavours from all around the world when Real Festival returns to the Nepean River from 1-2 November.

International cuisines and everyone’s favourite foods will be dished up by the talented chefs and passionate cooks behind more than 27 popular food trucks across Friday and Saturday.

Penrith Mayor Ross Fowler OAM said the riverbank is set to transform into a vibrant dining precinct and he encourages everyone to come hungry.

“This year there will be more food trucks than ever before and plenty of options available to suit all tastes and budgets. From dumplings to desserts and everything in between, we’ve curated a menu that’s as exciting as our event program,” Cr Fowler said.

New food trucks this year include the 2018 Pizza World Champions Lucio Pizzeria and Burnt Ends BBQ who have a strong following for their American style ribs and slow-cooked meats.

There’s a number of returning food trucks including Urban Pasta, Lambda Sydney and local favourites Burger Head.

A key food precinct this year is located within the buzzing market stall area to allow festivalgoers to dine while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and live music. This precinct is powered by Brighter, a major sponsor of the event.

“We’re proud to be part of Real Festival as the major sponsor of the Brighter Dining Precinct and excited to be powering food trucks so attendees can enjoy delicious food and have an unforgettable dining experience at the event,” said Sarah Browne, Director of the Brighter Program.

Festivalgoers can also enjoy Pimms cocktails, beer, cider and wine at the outdoor bar on Friday and Saturday. The bar has spectacular river views and is conveniently located close to all the action so festivalgoers don’t miss a moment.

“Real Festival creates unforgettable moments for people of all ages and this year will be no different. With a world-class program of theatre, art and music; interactive experiences on and off the water and an exciting range of food trucks, this year’s event is shaping up to the best yet,” Cr Fowler said.
