This free workshop will shine a light on leadership, strategy and innovation to help manufacturers think differently about the opportunities represented by emerging digital technologies and new business models.

Interactive and packed with industry examples, the workshop is intended to help businesses:

  • think differently about the opportunities and challenges of digital manufacturing
  • map the current state of their business with respect to capabilities and characteristics vital for future competitiveness and success, and compare this to where they aspire to be in two years from now
  • understand the primary gaps between their current state and aspirations, to help develop key areas of focus and potential investment, and
  • understand where assistance may be sought to help their transition to digital manufacturing.

Attendees will also have the chance to hear IMCRC CEO and Managing Director David Chuter speak. Mr Chuter is an experienced senior executive with a strong industry record in leading strategic business growth, operational management and change in the manufacturing sector.

He is passionate about local industry and creating a stronger platform for the wider Australian manufacturing sector through catalysing investment in technology, innovation, collaboration and competitiveness.

This valuable workshop is aimed at business owners and executives. Places are limited, so only 2 participants per organisation can register.

Attendees must bring a charged laptop or device that is WIFI enabled and are encouraged to read CSIRO's Advanced Manufacturing Roadmap before arriving at the workshop.
