Experts discuss promising economic future for New West

The potential of the New West was highlighted at the Coleman Greig NAB Outlook 2025 Economic Forum. The event, sponsored by Penrith City Council, was held in Penrith on February 26.

Mayor of Penrith, Ross Fowler OAM opened the event and gave attendees an insight into what Penrith will look like in 2025.

Tapas Strickland, Director of Economics at NAB, discussed the ways in which international events affect the Australian economy and shared insights on the labour and housing markets.

Sam Sangster, CEO of the Western City & Aerotropolis Authority, spoke about the Western Parkland City, Smart Cities, and the jobs and educational opportunities the Western Sydney International Airport will bring to the region.
