Applications open for Urban Futures Accelerator

Western Sydney University’s (WSU) Launch Pad Technology Business Incubator, based in Werrington, have partnered with Landcom to deliver the Urban Futures Property Industry Technology Accelerator.

two women looking at a laptopApplications are now open for the 6-month program that seeks to grow innovation within the property development industry. The program is looking for creative approaches to address challenges in property development, construction and urban design such as improving liveability and sustainability outcomes.

Designed for start-ups and SMEs, the Urban Futures Accelerator provides participants with in-kind support valued at up to $50k. This includes support from WSU Launch Pad mentors and Landcom’s industry specialists in ideation, validation, product development, operations and launch into the market.

Access to the WSU School of Built Environment, which offers courses in Kingswood, is also made available to participants. The school can support in areas such as architecture, construction management, and urban design.
