Land sale spells investment opportunity

Land sale spells investment opportunity

The recent sale of 47-hectares of employment land adjacent to the North Penrith industrial precinct highlights the amazing level of opportunity in our City.

With a frontage of almost 900m and direct access from both Old Castlereagh Road and Lugard Street, realtor Macquarie Commercial Penrith described the site and the sale as one of the largest employment land transactions in the Western Sydney region.

It is expected the site, sold on behalf of the Penrith Lakes Corporation, will be subdivided in stages over the next 5 years into Torrens titled lots of varying size.

Lots at the site will accommodate and be perfected positioned for large logistic/transport companies – a sector recognised by Council for its future jobs growth potential, particularly in conjunction with the future Western Sydney Airport.

With 4,000ha of available land in our Local Government Area at the entrance to the aerotropolis, and 47.8ha of land owned by Council in the city centre, Penrith has plenty of space for businesses to grow.

It also has all the right connections. With North South Rail being delivered and other significant infrastructure projects, including the Outer Sydney Orbital and the Bells Line of Road (Castlereagh Connection), in the pipeline, there’s never been a better time to invest in Penrith.
