Amazon Australia announces plans to onboard 500 new local seasonal roles at Kemps Creek

Amazon Australia has announced plans to onboard over 2,000 seasonal workers for the festive season with approx. 530 of these roles based at their Kemps Creek site, providing seasonal job opportunities for our local workforce.

Amazon’s Kemps Creek fulfilment centre. Amazon Australia Director of Operations, Mindy Espidio-Garcia said, “As we head into the holiday season, we’re pleased to offer over 2,000 new seasonal work opportunities for Australians around the country, at a time when thanks to cost-of-living pressures they are needed most. Whatever your personal or professional situation, there’s a job or earning opportunity for you with Amazon.”

“Seasonal roles are great for those who want something shorter term like students on their summer break, while flexible opportunities are perfect for those who want to earn around their existing schedule or are looking for an additional income stream. This might be a parent who wants some additional money for gifts this holiday season, someone saving for their summer getaway or a retiree who’s looking for something to keep them busy while earning a bit of extra cash,” added Mindy.

Seasonal roles in the company’s fulfilment centres may present a path to permanent employment and a long-term career at Amazon, and those looking for rewarding work in the lead up to the holiday season are encouraged to apply.
