Penrith Celebrates Make Music Day 2021

For the second consecutive year, Penrith City Council will join the worldwide Make Music Day celebrations with two pop-up music performances on Sunday 20 June 2021.  

Local artist, Brett Sams, will perform from 9am to 12pm at Coachmans Park, St Marys and indie fusion duo, Blue Sherlock, will take to the stage at Triangle Park, Penrith from 12pm to 3pm.   

Make Music Day is an annual, global celebration of music which gives artists the opportunity to make and share their music with the world each year. 

Penrith Mayor Karen McKeown OAM said Council is proud to be taking part in the worldwide event and providing a platform for artists to perform and share their music.  

“I encourage everyone to head along to our free pop-up performances on Sunday 20 June to show your support for our local performers and celebrate together on Make Music Day,’ Cr McKeown said.
