Understand how to write applications for creative arts support and how to recover from setbacks. Best suited for artists and cultural practitioners of all skill levels and experiences.

The workshop includes topics such as:

• the different kinds of funding available from grants to procurement and more
• application writing tips
• how to get the money right
• how to acquit your funding, including recovering from setbacks.

These hands-on sessions will provide foundational skills and knowledge in Community Arts and Cultural Development (CACD) practice, guidance in how to develop a project proposal for the Magnetic Places Grants Program and legal rights and responsibilities when receiving public funding.
