Electronic Waste Drop-off Day 2021

Do you have unwanted, broken or old electronic items you’ve been waiting to dispose of correctly? Pack these into your car and take them to Jamison Park on our drop-off day so they’ll go to the right place for disposal or reuse. A COVID-19 safe plan will be in place on the day.

E-waste is growing at three times the rate than other waste, which is why once it’s no longer needed it’s great to take it to the right place for disposal or reuse. Our E-waste Drop-off Day is the perfect opportunity for you to pack up your old, broken and unwanted electronic items and bring them to Jamison Park where they’ll be disposed of safely and correctly.

What do I have to do on the day?

All you have to do is pack your unwanted, broken or old electronic items into the boot of your car or trailer and bring it down to us at Jamison Park. The friendly staff will remove it from your vehicle without you needing to hop out.

Why is it important to take your e-waste to the right place?

Sending e-waste to landfill takes up huge amounts of unnecessary space and poses a risk to the environment and wildlife as some components of items can be toxic to the environment. Taking your e-waste to the right place not only guarantees that it is disposed of correctly and safely, but it also ensures items are disassembled, sorted, and recovered as some contain valuable materials which can be used again.

What kind of items can I bring?
