Penrith Mayor Todd Carney said Youth Week is an opportunity for Penrith’s young people aged 12 to 24 to come together, share ideas and showcase their talents.

“Youth Week is all about inspiring young people to chase their dreams and take bold steps to make them a reality,” Cr Carney said.

“I’m proud to celebrate the young people of Penrith with a free party at City Park. Grab your mates for an awesome day of entertainment, freebies and fun. Then soak up the wealth of talent in our community with live musical performances and creative workshops.”

Youth Week is an initiative of the NSW Government, held from 16-26 April 2026, for people aged between 12 and 24.

The theme for NSW Youth Week 2026 is ‘Dream. Dare. Do.’ This theme encourages creativity and courage, inspiring young people to dream big and take real steps to make those dreams happen.

Youth Week at City Park is funded by Penrith City Council in partnership with the NSW Government.
