Portraits in Pink exhibition

The Portraits in Pink exhibition will be at Penrith City Library from 1 – 27 April. It is free and open to the whole community.

The exhibition is free and open to the whole community.

The exhibition will include a series of photos, celebrating the stories of 14 breast cancer survivors from within the Indian and Sri Lankan communities of NSW.

Women from the Indian and Sri Lankan backgrounds have one of the lowest screening rates in NSW. The Pink Sari project aims to raise awareness about breast screening among these communities.

The exhibition is hosted at Penrith City Library and is brought to the community Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District in partnership with Pink Sari inc., Penrith City Council and the Westmead Breastscreen Institute.
