    Night work notification

To minimise the impact on road users, work will take place at night on weekends, weather permitting. Working hours during these night works will be:

Sunday to Thursday: 8:00pm – 5:00am (next day)

    Friday & Saturday: 8:00pm – 8:00am (next day)

During the work, every effort will be made to minimise the impact on Nepean Hospital and road users by:

    • alternating between work locations to minimise continuous impacts on the same community
    • using equipment fitted with noise mitigation devices and monitoring noise at night.

For the safety of motorists and workers, there will be some traffic changes and temporary lane closures which may affect travel times. At the intersections of The Northern Road, Great Western Highway and Derby Street, the existing traffic lights will be replaced with temporary traffic lights. Please keep to speed limits and follow the direction of signs and traffic controllers.
