The College, Orth and Werrington Creeks Catchment Overland Flow Flood Study is one of the latest studies to be completed and put on public exhibition as part of Council's ongoing flood management plan. The study aims to establish the local overland flood behaviour and inform future risk management planning.
Ensuring flood modelling is up to date and Council's management plan is robust is essential to ensuring the safety and resilience of the community in times of natural disaster.
The College, Orth and Werrington Creeks Catchment (approximately 12 square kilometres) is located between the Motorway (M4) in the south and Dunheved Road in the north covering the suburbs of Werrington, Werrington County, Cambridge Park, Kingswood and Caddens.
The draft study is open for public exhibition from 23 February - 30 March. More information about public exhibition is available in the College, Orth and Werrington Creeks factsheet (accessible pdf 255Kb).
