Annual Report
Welcome to Penrith
City Council's Annual Report for 2006-2007. This year our
Annual Report marks the departure from our previous reporting methods
and incorporates globally recognised sustainability indicators for
the first time, summarising of our sustainability performance for the
2006-2007 year, and progress on our Strategic Plan and Management
Plan. This report is also the first step in integrating a suite of
compliance reports (the Annual Report, State of the Environment
Report, and Community Plan Report), which outline our key
initiatives, how we are performing, and challenges for the future. It
provides a summary of performance based on existing targets and data
compiled by the organisation for performance management and for
reporting social, economic and environmental aspects of the business.
Council has
embraced this method of reporting to further demonstrate our strong
commitment to open and transparent reporting across all aspects of
Council's services and programs.
