2010 SENIORS WEEK GRANTS PROGRAM

NSW Senior’s Week is an annual event celebrating the valuable contribution seniors make to the community.

Penrith City Council supports Seniors Week activities through a grants program. Community organisations are invited to submit applications for funds to assist with events they are planning for Seniors Week in 2010.

The theme for the week is ‘Live Life’ and will be held from 21 to 28 March 2010.

Council funds a wide range of activities promoting positive community attitudes towards older people as well as activities which encourage the participation of older people.

The grant program opens on Monday 19 October 2009 and closes on

16 November 2009.
