Electronic Resources available at Penrith City Library
Please note: As well as the substantial full text database listed below, Penrith City Library also has a selection of CD-ROMs which are available for free (see list below), as part of the its FREENET network on its public access PCs at Penrith, St. Marys and St. Clair branches. None of these resources are as yet available for access outside the Library.

Australia/New Zealand Reference Centre (EBSCO) - Available only via Penrith City Library's REFNET and FREENET PC networks under the heading 'Magazines' within the library at its Penrith, St. Marys and St. Clair branches.
Australia / New Zealand Reference Centre (ANZRC) is the most comprehensive full text reference database designed specifically for Australian and New Zealand libraries. ANZRC features more Australian and New Zealand publishing content in full text than any other electronic resource available today.

Magazine titles include; Asian Business Review, Australian Geographer, Australian Literary Studies, Australian Journal of Social Issues, Family Matters, Hecate, History Today, Meanjin, Nature Australia, Sports Illustrated, NZ Business, Harper’s Bazaar, Macleans, National Geographic, Newsweek, Popular Mechanics, Psychology Today, Rolling Stone and Scientific American and many more, with further significant additions planned for the ANZRC in 2002.
Please note: Microsoft Explorer seems to be the best browser for using A/NZ Ref. Centre. Using Netscape, we found that the database doesn't load completely - for example, no online help was available.
