Penrith City Council is running the 2009 Penrith Excellence in Design Awards. The awards seek to encourage, reward, and promote quality design in the City of Penrith.  The awards ceremony will be held at the Twin Creeks Country Club at Luddenham. The awards will acknowledge architects and designers who have contributed to the City’s built environment via architectural design. 

Entering the Penrith Excellence in Design Awards is an opportunity for you and your design team to be publicly recognised for your contribution to design in Penrith City.

Successful nominations  will be promoted in the local and metropolitan print media and will be given an award acknowledging their achievement.

ABOUT THE DESIGN AWARDS

In July 2009, Penrith City Council will be running its bi-annual Penrith Excellence in Design Awards. The awards seek to encourage, reward, and promote quality design in the city of Penrith.

WHO CAN ENTER

The awards are open to owners, and individuals or organizations that have completed buildings or design projects in the Penrith City between 2005 and 2008.

Should more than one organization be involved in the competition of the entered project, please note this on the entry form.

The competition entries will be open as from 19 January 2009  until 8 May 2009 at 4pm.

HOW TO ENTER

Applicants must obtain the Award Entry Kit , which outlines the criteria in detail. The entry kit can be obtained from this website or it can also be obtained from Penrith Council Offices: 601 High Street , Penrith and 207 – 209 Queen Street , St Marys.

Entries can be delivered in person or posted to Council addressed to Development Enquiry Unit, Penrith City Council, PO Box 60, Penrith NSW 2751.
